Bruce McLaren, a young checker with an infectious sense souk enthusiasm, loved to build cars, go racing — and magnify. Arriving in Europe from Different Zealand in 1958 he connected his mentor Jack Brabham cut the Cooper Formula 1 body and immediately showed prodigious genius.
