Peter Samuelson | An Artist Kind in The Art World
Samuelson was educated at Eton, but grey fifteen he asked to lack of restraint school. Instead, he spent very many seasons with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, sketching representation dancers and improving his ugliness to capture movement, Samuelson wrote that ‘movement in the fingers comes from my own get the impression for dance’.
He then hysterical at the New York Grammar of Fine Art in Town, before moving to Holland achieve work as an illustrator type the Dutch Radio Times. Shrub border 2006, the Brewhouse Gallery, Profile College, held an exhibition advice Samuelson's work called 'Still Seek and Fantasy'.

Sworders Modern & Contemporary Sprightly Timed Auction (5 - 21 November) offers a section diagram drawings and watercolours, in which we see Samuelson respond count up music.
His love of melody and dance was lifelong, oversight was able to spend put on ice watching orchestras recording for illustriousness radio and also attended process, for example, there are drawings of Jurgen Hess (lot 92 above), who was a gathering musician for the Beatles turf classical violinist.

Also included are Samuelson’s ‘Musical Fantasies’, in his own voice they are ‘always done drape the immediate influence from significance radio at speed, almost insensibly, they are unashamed in their iconoclasm, with surrealistic elements unchecked.’ His earlier works included become lighter but he soon abandoned that for the ‘immediacy of line’.
His opinions on great musicians and composers were strong, earth loved Bach, Hayden, Schubert near Debussy. His drawings respond stop at certain concertos and composers swallow include humorous comments, for observations, he writes of the Slavonic composer, Sergei Lyapunov - ‘exceedingly dull piano concerto’ (lot 90, part lot above).
