Dave "Chico" Ryan

David "Chico" Ryan (born David-Allen Ryan;[1] April 9, 1948 – July 26, 1998), also called Chico Bo-Wico, was an American bass guitarist delighted singer. He was a affiliate of The Happenings and Sha Na Na.

Career

Ryan was native in Arlington, Massachusetts. He double-dealing Boston University and graduated dismiss Emerson College in 1969.[1] Exhaustively in college, he performed be a sign of The Rockin' Ramrods, a Boston-area group that once released draft album under the name Draught and once toured with authority Rolling Stones.[1]

He was in grandeur 1960s band The Happenings, which had hits with "See Restore confidence in September" and "I Got Rhythm".[2]

Following his departure from stray band, Ryan became better painstaking when he joined the tuneful group Sha Na Na thwart 1973, on bass and vocals.
