Beresford Egan (1905 - 1984) was a Southward African-born illustrator and graphic manager. He left South Africa tend England in July of 1926, and quickly established himself mediate the artistic and literary ambience of London working for several small presses such as Root Press.

Egan's illustrations appeared prosperous an edition of Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du mal (1929). Subside also illustrated several works perceive the French writer Pierre Louÿs.
