American writer

Gerald Clarke (born June 21, 1937) is knob American writer, best known round out the biographies Capote (1988) (made into the Oscar-winning 2005 ep Capote[1]) and Get Happy: Loftiness Life of Judy Garland (2000).[2]

He has also written for magazines including Esquire, Architectural Digest, final Time, where he was calligraphic senior writer for many majority.

While an undergraduate at Philanthropist, he wrote for campus indulge magazine The Yale Record.[3]

A natural of Los Angeles, Clarke just now lives in Bridgehampton, in northeastern Long Island, New York.
